The Fourth Academic Meeting of the Laryngology and Voice Group of the Otorhinolaryngology Branch of Shanghai Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, which was hosted by Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University and co-organized by Weihai Gaoke Medical, successfully came to an end in Shanghai on November 1st, 2020.
This conference was held in a combination of online and offline methods. Renowned experts in this field from across the country were invited. While introducing the new progress in the surgical treatment, conservative treatment, and voice assessment of laryngeal and vocal diseases, new contents such as practical operation on animal specimens simulating CO2 laser, coblation vocal cord surgery, laryngeal microsuturing techniques, etc. were added. It is intended to further enhance the understanding of otolaryngologists regarding laryngeal and vocal diseases, and at the same time, improve the operational proficiency of clinical physicians in laryngeal laser microsurgery.
